free wings day

Today was Free Wing day at Kelsey's, so obviously we had to go to get our free honey garlic chicken wings.  We went right at 4 when it started so we wouldn't have to wait in line.  Within 5 minutes of getting there, of course there was a line right out the door.  The dancing chicken was giving away cheese bread to everyone waiting though, Niki was getting really jealous about that.  I thought this picture of Madden is super cute, even though he has bad taste in beer already at 15 months.

girls night!

Yep, that's right.  Colin and I had a girls night last night and it was a blast as always.  I am now searching to find a similar hat to the one I'm wearing in this picture (it's Colin's) but in white or grey to match my coat.  Madden and I are going to the mall tomorrow night with Leigh (Tiffany) so hopefully I will be able to find one!

scrap space challenge

Help me re-invent my scrap space!  It's a disgusting mess that needs more organization and storage ideas.  Right now I'm not motivated to do anything down there.  Madden's scrapbook album is only at Halloween...  Halloween 2008.  He was only 5 days old!
So I need you to help me with you're crafty organizational and storage ideas, spending very minimal money.
Here is what my basement/scrap space looks like:

This is the main corner where I have tried to set up my supplies and where I do most of my scrapbooking.  It doesn't make too much sense since it's not very roomy on that desk when I have my stuff layed out, and I have so much more room over here.

I need to get the stuff on this table organized in some way so I have room to work over here.  This is what I need to organize:

I also have a random shelf way up above the desk that is being pretty useless at the moment.

Oh and here's the rest of the room, defintely needs a little bit of organization...

not impressed

Yesterday, two of my girlfriends and I decided to go to the Wine and Food Show at the Western Fair for the evening.  After a night of wine tasting, and delicious bbq steak pizza, we came back to a not impressed Madden!  He was tired, it was getting pretty late for the little man.

two weeks late

I've decided to take the 365 challenge.  That is, to take a picture (or more) a day for 365 days of 2010.  Yes I know, two weeks late, but always better late than never.  I'm really excited about this.  Lately I've needed some motivation and inspiration to get out my camera and take some pictures so I'm hoping this will help me capture all those moments I'm missing.

These aren't great pictures as they were taken on my cell phone, but when you print them out at walmart they look like they were taken on my digital camera.  Madden never used to enjoy his baths pretty much until he turned one, now he loves them!
